Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir in the mashed bananas until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are acceptable.
- Divide the batter evenly among the 12 prepared muffin cups.
- Spoon about 1-2 teaspoons of Nutella on top of each muffin. Use a skewer or toothpick to gently swirl the Nutella into the batter, creating a marbled effect.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
