I’m Emilia Stella, a passionate home cook with a love for sweet temptations, crispy ideas, and plenty of heart. I’m so glad you’re here! I started icefishinges to share my love for cooking and baking with the world. What began in my small kitchen with a tattered recipe book is now my creative playground. I believe that good food brings people together – no matter if you’re a pro or just picking up a whisk for the first time.
All my recipes are easy to follow, with ingredients you can find at the local supermarket – no fancy stuff, no luxury ingredients. I want everyone to cook with joy – and maybe even grow a little beyond themselves (or at least, let the cake rise over the edge of the pan…).

I publish new recipes every Tuesday and Friday. When I’m not preheating the oven or experimenting with powdered sugar, I love discovering new flavors in cafes, rescuing plants that seemed lost, and flipping through thick cookbooks the way others flip through novels.

It depends on the recipe – I include notes on shelf life and whether the dish can be frozen. As a general rule: Cakes last 2–4 days, cookies longer, and creamy dishes are best enjoyed fresh.
