Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and chai spice blend until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, canola oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop the batter into prepared cupcake liners until they are about two-thirds full.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. In a medium bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese together until creamy.
  9. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing until smooth.
  10. Add milk little by little until you reach your desired frosting consistency.
  11. Once cooled completely, frost each cupcake generously with cream cheese frosting using a spatula or piping bag for added flair.
  12. Garnish with additional chai spices on top or sprinkle with crushed nuts if desired.
